Country Life

So I gave up the blogging because of lack of time. Well I tried to post on the Cricut Community and it just wont let me post without one..so I am biting the bullet and trying it once again..
Here is a birthday card I made for a friend who likes to sew..personally I would LOVE to learn to sew and have the machine sitting in my craft area but just dont seem to have the patience to do it. Maybe on my Mom's next trip to Illinois she will help me overcome my new machine!
I used paper from Joann Fabric. I think it was The Crafty Pack. Had lots of cute paper in it!
The other card is a thank you I made with the corn image. I sent it through the Cuttlebug to make the raised image because I didnt want to mess with all those little corn pieces. The paper was from Michaels fall pack.

Vacation time!

I have been busy crafting this week and have a few projects done. The problem is I have not had time to download my camera! Its also been a busy time packing and getting things together for my trip to Jacksonville Florida this Friday. We arrive back late Sunday night and head to The Wilderness in the Wisconsin Dells on Monday morning! I cant wait to ride the waterslides. As my husband said we dont have too many years left where we can walk up all those steps so we may as well do it while we can!

This is halloween, this is halloween, pumkins scream in the dark of night!

Ok so I love the Nightmare Before Christmas! Actually I love anything having to do with Halloween so when I saw this exploding circle book at CHA last week I just had to have it. It was by Pinecone Press Papers. It came in a kit with papers, ribbon, and some shapes to cut out. I added a few buttons, and some little charms I had sitting around. It is still a work in process, as you may note by the paperclips holding it together. I cant attach it all until I place photos in the ablum or they will be all over the place trying to do it in an upright position. Now if I can just get around to printing off Halloween photos from P's party a few years back in North Carolina. I made the cards with some left over scraps, and cut out the cute gingham button with my Martha Stewart button punch out.

This is Halloween, This is Halloween

Everyone hail to the pumpkin king!

Here we go

So after my deliberation I have made the decision to post my crafting. I have started rediscovering my creative side after it lay dormant for many years, problem now is my hands cant keep up with my brain! The past few weeks my daughter "P" has been in Florida visiting family and friends giving me the perfect excuse to find time to craft. Here are a few cards I made last night. Stamps are by Papertray. LOVE them! They are "cute as a button"!
The small mini book is a Thanksgiving Blessings book for my family to do this year. Inside there is a page for a photo of us, and one page for each of us to write down our blessings for the year .
